PROGRAM FEES

The comprehensive program fee of approximately $8,300* includes:

  • Shared student apartments in Florence
  • Hotel accommodations and travel during program excursions
  • Entrance fees to various sites while on excursions
  • International Health Insurance
  • $150 non-refundable application fee

Costs not included in the program fee are:

  • CofC tuition and fees at the in-state or out-of-state rate
  • Passport application fees
  • Airfare to and from Florence
  • Personal expenses

* Program fee is not finalized yet, but will be close to this amount.

Note–The College of Charleston Financial Aid website estimates that the typical cost of room and board at CofC for 2025 is $7,108 per semester (link to cost estimate).  Since you won’t be paying for room and board in Charleston when you’re in Florence,  these costs can go toward the program fee and your airfare.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AID

  • Financial aid and scholarships typically awarded through CofC can be used for this program. Students should meet with a representative of the Office of Financial Assistance and Veteran Affairs to discuss their individual financial aid package.
