The results of the Annual Student Film Club Screenwriting Competition have been announced, and the winners are impressive! In third place is Liam Hasty’s “A Day in the Life,” a fine story about taking stock in how our everyday decisions have profound effects on others that we seldom register. In second place is Braedon Cason’s “Bad Delivery,” a Tarantino-esque, mind-twisting murder plot. And in first place is Caroline Drinnon’s “Revival,” about two formerly enslaved young sisters who witness a horrible crime in 1830s South Carolina, as we hear the words of a husband’s biblical devotion to his beloved wife. Congratulations not just to all the winners, but to all who submitted their screenplays!
