The Student Film Club meets tonight, at 7:00pm in BCTR 216
The Student Film Club will meet tonight at 7:00pm, in the Beatty Center, room 216. We will be watching David Lynch’s mysterious, confounding, dreamy masterpiece Mulholland Drive (2001). The film is part of the semester-long series of films, “Dreams and the Cinema.” Tonight’s film tells the story of a young woman with a past named Rita who suffers from amnesia after a near-fatal car accident. She meets up with a young aspiring Hollywood star (Naomi Watts) and the two traverse the dreamscape that is Los Angeles in search for answers. Join us tonight to enjoy one of cinema’s most haunting filmmakers–and also to learn about upcoming Student Film Club events.
