The 15th Annual Nuovo Cinema Italiano Film Festival begins Nov. 4

The Nuovo Cinema Italiano Film Festival, now in its 15th year, begins Thursday, November 4 and runs through Sunday, November 6. The festival opens with a 4pm screening of the 2020 film Non odiare (Thou Shall Not Hate), which is director Mauro Mancini’s first feature film and won the Best Actor (Alessandro Gassmann) and Best Italian Film awards at the Venice Film Festival.

All films are screening at the Queen Street Playhouse (20 Queen St.) and admission is free to all College of Charleston students, with ID and mask.
