Study Film in Florence, Italy in Spring 2022!
The Center for International Education is offering a number of semester-long Study Abroad programs next Spring, including one in Florence, Italy. For this program, Dr Colleen Glenn, Associate Professor of English and Film Studies, will be offering ENGL 212: The Cinema: History & Criticism and ENGL 390: Special Topics in Film – Studies in Slow Cinema. Both courses count as GE credit as well as toward the Film Studies minor.
The program runs from February 6 to April 16 and includes field trips throughout Florence and the region of Tuscany. The program is 12-18 credits and costs $6,900. Scholarships are available and students are strongly encouraged to apply. The deadline for applying for scholarships is October 5, 2021.
