Dr. Dana Renga, Visiting Scholar, to give talk on Italian Television Abroad, Oct. 10 @5:30

The Department of French, Francophone and Italian Studies and the Film Studies Program present Dr. Dana Renga, Associate Professor and Chair in the Department of French and Italian at the Ohio State University. Dr. Renga will give a talk on Thursday, October 10 at 5:30 in ECTR 118 (25 St. Philip St.) on “Italian Television Abroad.” Right now, Italian Television is as exciting as anything we have to offer here in America (and with Stranger Things, Walking Dead, True Detective, Breaking Bad, and Game of Thrones, among others, that’s saying a lot). And it’s offered here in America (Gomorrah and Suburra: Blood on Rome streaming on Netflix, and My Brilliant Friend, on HBO).
