The “Afrofuturism on Film” Spring Festival kicks off February 4

The African American Studies Program is hosting the “Afrofuturism on Film” festival this Spring semester, beginning with a screening of the 1998 film Blade, directed by Stephen Norrington and starring Wesley Snipes as the Marvel Comics superhero. There will be four screenings in all, running through the month of February. All films will be screened in ECTR 118 at 6pm, and popcorn and other refreshments will be provided. A discussion facilitated by a faculty member will follow each screening.
