A Greater Society live screening event, September 17.

A Greater Society is a documentary by Craig A. Colton and Stacy Goldate that focuses on a retirement community in South Florida and its residents’ impact on the Florida elections. The film is a timely examination of the importance of voting, women voting, women in office, and other topics such as Social Security and Medicare. The film nicely complements the Year of Women offerings and the social justice theme for sustainability literacy this year at CofC. The film will stream live on ITVS’ Oveé on Monday, September 17 at 8pm. Viewers can watch and interact while the film plays, typing in questions, comments, emojis, etc. Afterward, a panel of community leaders and cast members will have a live dialogue in response to the online audience.
