Student Film Club presents: Richard Dunn, creator of the YouTube megahit “All by Myself”

Dunn was stranded in Las Vegas McCarran airport overnight and decided that a good way to pass the time and make use of the space was to shoot a video with his iPhone, a cover of Celine Dion’s cover of Eric Carmen’s “All By Myself.” He uploaded to YouTube and it got 20 million hits in 14 days. Before long Dunn found himself on CNN, talking about his video and the power of social media. He wrote a book about the whole experience, and he is coming to the College of Charleston to share his story on Monday, October 6, 5:30-7:00 in ECTR. This event is free and open to the public.
