The Student Film Club meets tonight, October 7, at 7:00pm

The Student Film Club will meet tonight at 7:00pm, in the Beatty Center, room 216. We will be watching Federico Fellini’s masterpiece, 8 1/2 (1963). The film is part of the semester-long series of films, “Dreams and the Cinema.” Tonight’s film is about a frustrated, middle-aged director (played by Marcello Mastroianni) who withdraws deeper and deeper into his own dreams and memories while shooting a film that is behind schedule and, to make matters worse, not only baffling to his own producers and crew but to himself as well. Will inspiration come? Join us tonight to enjoy one of cinema’s greatest films (BFI lists it as the 10th all-time best film out of 50)–and also to learn about upcoming Student Film Club events.
