The Student Film Club meets Wednesday, September 21 at 7:00pm in the Communications Museum

The next Student Film Club meeting is this Wednesday, and the meeting will include a screening of Robert Altman’s Nashville (1975). The screening is part of the Student Film Club’s Fall film series which is devoted to films about great cities of the world. Altman’s film takes us to the heart of America, or a certain view of it, through the lenses of Nashville music. The film, with its ensemble cast (Keith Carradine, Geraldine Chaplin, Karen Black, Ned Beatty, Jeff Goldblum, and dozens of others) and mix of music, politics, and local culture, is a most unusual tapestry. Join us at 7pm in the John Rivers Communications Museum screening room (subsequent Film Club meetings will be held in ECTR 118). The Communication Museum is located at 58 George St., on the corner of St. Philip and George St. (across from the CVS).
