Position Description:  (This is a paid internship.) The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) serves as the guiding force in ensuring air transport systems are safe, efficient and reliable worldwide. To be eligible to participate, you must meet the following criteria:  

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be able to work a full-time (~40 hours a week) or part-time schedule (up to 20 hours) for the duration of the program.
  • Be currently-enrolled as a full-time graduate or undergraduate student at an accredited U.S. college or university, with a graduation date after the internship ends.
  • Have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Have a confirmed interest in FAA and the scope of work presented in the internship job description.

Position Description:  (This is a paid internship.) Nectar Sunglasses is an eyewear company based in Charleston, South Carolina. This position will report to the Director of Media.

Responsibilities:  The Social Media/Marketing Intern would be responsible for the following:

  • Assist in all aspects of video and photographic communications and contribute to planning and storyboarding
  • Assist in the end-to-end process from storyboarding to logistics to shooting to editing and publishing
  • Film video and shoot photographs in studio and field environments
  • Record desktop computer screens and actions for demo and training videos
  • Use existing original and stock footage to produce new videos
  • Contribute to mixing and editing to create polished and engaging videos
  • Publish videos primarily to the web and touch-up still photography
  • Have the potential to deliver videos and photos that succinctly and clearly tell the desired story
  • Ability to deliver videos with cuts, graphics, sound and other elements that convey a quality production value and a level of technical sophistication
  • Experience with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Captivate and Adobe Photoshop

Position Description:  (This is a paid internship.) We are pleased to offer an outstanding and substantive internship program for the nation’s best and brightest young leaders. At the Chamber, you will obtain a hands-on, meaningful work experience designed to meet your academic and career goals. Our internships offer opportunities in research, writing, database management, webpage maintenance, communications, and event preparation. During the internship, you will network with colleagues and senior-level executives while participating in educational and professional activities designed to enhance your internship experience.

Sen. Lindsey Graham Campaign: Seeking Interns (Spring 2020)

Dates:  Spring 2020

Hours:  15-20 hours per week

Position Description:  U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham’s campaign office is interviewing intern candidates for the spring semester. Interns will experience the fast-paced nature of politics while gaining hands-on work experience that will be useful in any professional setting. It’s a great way to build professional relationships and networking skills.

Responsibilities May Include:  

  • Completing daily administrative duties
  • Helping staff with fundraising and political events
  • Organizing and compiling campaign data
  • Assisting with and coordinating volunteer tasks

Qualifications:  Ideal candidates are motivated, energetic problem-solvers who work well in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must. Position Description:  We are looking for an intern to assist with our social media marketing efforts, e-newsletter, graphic design, and web design. You will learn the ins and outs of our business and how to make social media a productive part of our overall marketing efforts. This internship is an unpaid position and hours vary. The Hubbell Summer Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell.

The Marketing Intern position offers a variety of opportunities including supporting the organization in the development and implementation of its marketing, business development, and public relation plans. Opportunities can vary from working in E-commerce, product/project management, Industrial Design, supporting a graphic design team or more.

Marketing Interns will typically support one or more experienced marketing teams in performance of assignments, spend time shadowing actual operations, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as the day-to-day operations of the Marketing and/or Sales department.   • Currently enrolled in 3rd (Junior) or 4th (Senior) year of undergraduate studies or a Graduate student working on a Master’s degree in any of the following degree programs: Communications / Public Relations / Marketing / Education / Environmental Science / Public Administration / Public Health / Environmental and Sustainability Studies / General Studies, or someone with a passion to educate the community about public water services or wastewater management.
  • Prior work record indicating dependability and conscientiousness.
  • Must have well-developed writing, editing, and grammatical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Physical Requirements, Activities, and Working Conditions:  

  • Sedentary work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly maneuver and transport objects.
