Kansai Gaidai University is a university of 14,000 students located in Hirakata, Japan, a busy city found along the Yodo River known for its infamous amusement park–Hirakata Park. Kansai Gaidai hosts 500 international students from 200 different institutions each year who represent 40 countries worldwide in order to learn about Japan and its neighboring countries through the university’s Asian Studies Program.
