Dr. Johnson and I have spent the last three days scouting Rome, walking our planned paths, and finalizing dinner reservations. Students start arriving tomorrow morning, making their way from Fiumicino Airport to Termini Station to the Tiziano Hotel.
Tomorrow will be a very busy day indeed. We’re gonna hit the road running by taking everyone down to San Giovanni in Laterano to see some of the earliest Christian structures in Rome. A little bit of exercise on Day One goes a long way toward battling jet lag.
