Hi everyone 🙂 My name is Maya Pai and I am a rising junior. This summer, I am traveling to Lisbon with the College of Charleston honors program. For background, I am majoring in public health with a minor in psychology. I chose this program in part to gain honors credits, but also to learn more about Portugal’s drug decriminalization policies. To prepare, I have been gathering a list of places I want to visit and things I need to pack. My main goals include becoming more knowledgeable about Portugal’s healthcare system and participating in cultural activities of the country. I look forward to sharing some of my experiences!
