Why I chose my program: I first found out about the Trujillo program when I was a junior in high school and have wanted to participate ever since. Since I am a Spanish Minor I thought it would be a great opportunity for me to build my understanding and proficiency of the Spanish language.
What Goals I’ve set for myself: Building my proficiency in Spanish and creating bonds with the other people in my program
What research have I done: I’ve been studying Spanish and the culture of Spain and Latin America for the past 3 years of college and for 3 years in college. I also did research into the town of Trujillo before I left for my trip.
