Hi! My name is Salina, and I am a junior. I am currently double majoring in International Business and International Studies. My concentration is Asian Studies. I am studying abroad at Kansai Gaidai University in Japan. I love learning languages, so when I got the opportunity to take Japanese at the College of Charleston I was so excited. As I learned the language and was exposed to the culture, I realized that Japan would be where I study abroad. I was fortunate to meet people studying abroad from Kansai Gaidai University at the College of Charleston, prior to me making the decision to study abroad in Japan. This helped me decide that Kansai Gaidai was the right choice for me. During my time abroad, I hope to meet many local people, improve my Japanese speaking skills, and experience Japanese culture. I am very excited to try Japanese cuisine, such as ramen and karage.
