CofC Abroad

I began my time here at the University of Hertfordshire (Hatfield, England) on the seventeenth of September, however, I was lucky enough to spend two weeks traveling across Italy and Ireland before my arrival. One thing that has become increasingly clear to me since leaving the states is just how little I really know about the world outside of the places I live. Although we learn about global events through schooling and the news, one can never really gain a full understanding of what life is like in other cultures until you actually get the chance to go there and speak to people who have lived there.
