Introduction by Liam Kelly

I’d like to introduce myself as Liam Kelly, a sophomore at the College of Charleston pursuing my dual interests for biology and Spanish. I’m thrilled to be studying abroad in Trujillo, Spain this summer with the Spanish and computer science program. This program will introduce me to the field of computer science, while also excelling my Spanish speaking ability and introducing me to a new culture.

I’m genuinely excited about immersing myself in the vibrant Spanish culture and embracing new enriching experiences. The prospect of connecting with fascinating individuals fills me with anticipation. As I prepare for this trip, I’ve taken the time to research various Spanish festivals, and one event that has truly grabbed my attention is the renowned Running of the Bulls Festival in Pamplona, Spain. Participating in this exhilarating tradition would be an absolute honor and a thrilling adventure. I am also very excited to explore the different cities like Toledo and Madrid.

This study abroad experience presents an opportunity in my educational path to broaden my perspectives, deepen my understanding of Spanish culture, and create lasting memories and friendships. I can’t wait to dive in and see what Spain has in store!
