My name is Summer Gayles and I am a Supply Chain Management. I am currently transitioning into my Senior year at CofC. This Summer, I will be traveling to Barcelona and Valencia because of an amazing Study abroad opportunity. I chose this program because it includes studying the ports in both cities as well as meeting with several global Supply Chain companies. One goal I have for this trip is to explore my interest in the global side of the Supply Chain Management industry. I would also love to learn more about the culture in Spain. I have conducted plenty of research relating to cultural norms and respectable clothing guidelines in my host country. I understand that when entering a new territory, you must be respectful of their rules and ways of life. All in all, I am very excited about the trip and am very grateful for the opportunity alone!
