When I went abroad I did not expect to meet friends like those amazing friends that I have who somehow all became like family and looked out for each other. In fact, we all met over a wifi problem and that wifi problem made all of us close to each other so that we couldn’t spend 1 day without each other. Friends play a very big role for us (international students) as they are the ones who will support our backs and this relationship might stay for a lifetime. Indeed, when I was thinking about it, all of us somehow got interested in one word “Business” and somehow all of us got different points of view about business which got all of us even closer to each other when we started to talk about our interests and what is the meaning of business in our opinion, which also was interested because I figured that the European people do have different thoughts and ideas about business that we have never even thought about in the states. Friends while abroad changed my life 100% as I am new to many things, including public transportation, mapping, language, and even prices. As I was struggling with these simple tasks for them, they were more than happy to help me out understanding how things work, in case we were not together at some point I know how to get back home and express myself to others. On the other hand, I was always behind their back in terms of helping them with the English language and even writing, which could be a simple task to what they taught me but I helped them with something that they needed help with as they were helping me with something that I needed help with. Overall, relationships, in general, are the key to success in life, and that also applies to studying abroad, so something I learned is that the more friends that I have the easier my life gets, and the friends that I made and still making abroad are going to last for longer.
