Hi!!

I’m Kiara Williams, a rising sophomore here at College of Charleston. I am a secondary education major with an additional major with English.

I chose the Reggio Emilia Art Education abroad program because it was a great opportunity to allow me and other students to see the inside of Italian culture and schools… which would benefit me on what I can do as a future educator to incorporate what they do or advice they give into my classroom.

My current goals are to:

• Try new foods
• Take as many pictures as possible
• Make new friends
• Learn about how the education system in Reggio works

I wanted my host family to be a surprise, so I saved all my questions until I got there! Which was super beneficial for the 2 weeks I was there.
