Hello! My name is Adam Schaich, and I am in my second semester at the College of Charleston. I am majoring in Data Science and Supply chain Management, with minors in Computer Science and Global Logistics and Transportation. I am originally from Milton, Georgia but am currently studying at the University of Stirling in Stirling, Scotland. I chose the University of Stirling mainly because of its location. I have always wanted to explore the rugged wilderness of Scotland and being located in the heart of Scotland is a dream come true for me. There is an ancient saying around here that whoever controls Stirling controls Scotland, and that demonstrates the true “heartland” location of Stirling. As far as goals for my time abroad, I aim to visit as many countries as I possibly can, while learning the customs and local quirks of the areas. I will continue to update you with blogs showcasing my travels and time spent here. Thank you!
