Hola! My name is Charlie Forstein and I am a junior at the College studying Psychology and International Studies with a concentration in Global Studies and a minor in Spanish. I am currently studying abroad in Alicante, Spain through USAC.

 

I chose this program because Alicante is a mid-sized beach city in Spain that provided the opportunity to practice my Spanish, explore a city, and travel easily. While abroad, I made goals to get involved with local activities, interact with students from Spain and practice Spanish at least once a day.

 

 

Before arriving in Alicante, I did a little bit of research to understand the city, the activities offered here, and the region. Each region of Spain provides different highlights (and accents!). Further, I spoke to my peers that attended this program previously to understand their experience.
