Hi there! My name is Kelly Joyner and I am a sophomore studying German and International Business at the College of Charleston. I will be studying abroad at the Otto-Friedrich Universität in Bamberg, Germany for a full semester. I chose this program because it will enhance not only my German knowledge and language, but also the learning skills that I use in my everyday life. I am beyond eager to make new friends, try new foods, and travel the world. My goal while studying abroad is to push myself to speak as much German as possible, and to become more involved within the community I am living in. I have done quite a bit of research on my host country, because this is my first time travelling out of the United States. I have been researching things such as health and political news all the way to nearby chocolateries. My departure is in less than a month, and I cannot wait to see what opportunities lie ahead!
