CofC Faculty Lead Program in Florence, Italy

• I chose this program because the experiences available in Florence are amazing! Also, the program makes it simple to transfer academic credits back to campus so I am still able to complete all of my degree requirements on time.

While I’m abroad I would love to become more comfortable in a new culture and environment on my own. In Charleston, I am really comfortable with the area and I would love to feel that about Florence before leaving! I would also like to use this time to travel to other European countries and Itallian cities to have a better understanding of different cultures through experiences!

I have researched the area in Florence where I am staying! I have checked out train rides to other cities and refreshed myself on the history of the city so that I can make sure to see all of the influential things (or as many as possible!).
