Hola! My name is Ryan Parham and I am doubling majoring with Spanish and communications at the College of Charleston. I am a junior studying in Trujillo, Spain led by CofC. I chose to come here because this is the perfect opportunity to practice my Spanish abroad while also focusing on my communications major. I wanted to challenge myself outside the Spanish class and put my skills to the test. I have always done quick travels to Europe, but this program was perfect for me because traveling is the greatest passion of mine in life and I have the opportunity to do so all while getting some great education opportunities. I would say to anyone who is second guessing studying abroad to stop doubting it. This program is only halfway over and I have so much learned about myself and a lot about the world around me. You won’t get chances like this again. Seize the moment and take that leap! Viva tu vido!!
