The Archaeology Club will host its first meeting of the year on WEDNESDAY AUGUST 31 at 5:30pm in BELL 217.
We will be talking about traditional pottery methods, including hands-on construction. Come an make your own pot!
Pottery firing (and weiner roast) to follow on Sept 10.
Lecture on “Early Native American Settlement in Lowcountry South Carolina” by Ron Anthony (a professor at CofC) will be on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 6 pm. It is free and open to the public.

We will also pull some items from our collection to be displayed in the lobby outside of the auditorium that evening.
Join fellow archaeologists and archaeological sympathizers this Wednesday (September 18) from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Mellow Mushroom in downtown Charleston. No agenda, other than to enjoy each other’s company.
