Jaymie Amodio as Stage Manager
Jaymie Amodio is a Senior majoring in Theatre and Arts Management. Her previous work on the mainstage includes Marisol and Last Night and The Night Before as assistant stage manager. She also acts as manager for CofC’s student-run theatre organization, Center Stage. She would like to thank the director, Nakeisha Daniel, for inviting her to work on this production of Antigone.
Molly Crary as Assistant Stage Manager
Molly Crary is a third-year theatre major at the College of Charleston. She was a part of the ensemble for a high-school production of The Addams Family musical, and is the assistant stage manager for this production of Emily Mann’s Antigone.
Jessica Shamble as Lighting Designer
Jessica Shamble is a senior at the College of Charleston majoring in theatre (Theatre for Youth). She has appeared onstage in past productions and is very grateful for the opportunity to design a main stage show.
Paige Bergen as Set Designer
Paige Bergen is a senior at the College of Charleston majoring in theatre (Scenic Design and Production). This is her third time designing for the main stage. Her last design was for In The Next Room (or The Vibrator Play) which was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19 but she is extremely grateful for this opportunity to design again.
Hailee Selby as Set Designer
Hailee Selby is a senior at the College of Charleston majoring in scenic design. Hailee had worked on several productions as prop master and is very grateful to get to design a main stage show for the first time.
Morgan Clinton as Costume Designer
Morgan Clinton is a Theatre major on the Performance and Costume Design track. She is ecstatic to be costume designing with Liz Mahon for the production of Antigone. She has also had the privilege of costume designing the production of Last Night and The Night Before by Donnetta Lavinia Grays, directed by Nakeisha Daniel. She would like to thank her parents for their constant support, Department Chair Janine McCabe for her dedication to her students’ success, and Shop Manager Erin Cooper for her creative reinforcements.
Elizabeth Mahon as Costume Designer
Noah George as Associate Technical Director
Noah George is a senior at the College of Charleston studying Arts Management and Theatre. He has been in and worked on many shows at the high school, collegiate, community, and professional level. He is excited to ATD his first mainstage production.
Kiara Gamble as Dramaturg
Kiara Gamble is a senior at the college, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Theatre. She was last seen in Center Stage’s production of Commune in Tea. Kiara has also served as ASM for previous Center Stage productions, but this is her first time working on a main stage production. She is very grateful for the opportunity to do dramaturgical work for Antigone.
Caleb Garner as Sound Designer
Caleb S. Garner is proud to make his College of Charleston debut as sound designer for Antigone. His work as a lighting and sound designer ranges from concerts, to ballets, to operas, to musicals, to straight plays. Caleb is the recipient of 10 design awards, including 2nd place in sound design at the 2019 National Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, and the 2016 Blue Masque Huck Finn Award for Outstanding Musical Contribution to a play. Caleb has been a featured designer from New York to Louisiana, designing in the Northeast, Midwest, Southeast, and Deep South. Caleb proudly holds a BFA in Theatre Design and Production and a BA in Theatre Arts Education from Catawba College, and an MFA in Lighting and Sound Design and Technology from The University of Southern Mississippi. As a transplanted North Carolinian, Caleb spends his time exploring Charleston with his partner Ryan, turning large pieces of wood into smaller pieces of wood (sometimes mistakenly called furniture), painting walls (often with permission) and playing with things that spark and smoke.
