Alison Roberts Hopkins has joined the College of Charleston as director of the Academic Advising and Planning Center. Hopkins has a doctorate degree in sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Princeton University. Previously, she was assistant director of advising in the College of Arts and Sciences at UNC-Chapel Hill.
