The Center for International Education offers two student volunteer programs- Study Abroad Peer Advisors and Cougar Ambassadors. We are currently seeking volunteers for next academic year. Below are brief descriptions of the volunteer programs:
- Cougar Ambassador (CA) Program- Current CofC students are matched with incoming international students to help the students transition to CofC. CAs also help with greeting students at the airport, orientation, etc. and meet with their buddies throughout the semester. Students who have studied abroad, who are planning on going abroad, or are interested in other cultures are encouraged to apply.
- Peer Advisor (PA) Program- CofC students who assist the Center for International Education with study abroad info sessions, fairs, class visits, etc. The program is designed for students who have already studied abroad and are looking for a way to share their experiences.
Additional information can be found on our website: http://international.cofc.edu/volunteer-opportunities/index.php. Please encourage any qualified students to apply!
