Starting today, you have nine days ahead of you without class. How are you going to spend it? Going home to see family and friends? Sitting on your couch catching up on TV shows and movies? Going somewhere tropical? Trying to catch up on work you have fallen behind on? All of the above? I for one will be doing all of the above. Heading to the beach for a while, heading home to see my friends and family, devoting a day to my favorite couch and some movies, and most importantly, devoting time to my thesis writing. I can’t say I am looking forward to doing work over the break, but I know it will help me in the long run and make the second half of the semester a little more stress-free.
Whatever you decide to do, make sure you enjoy it. Once this week is over, we will be entering the final stretch until the end of the year, and for some of us, the final stretch before graduation. So make the most of it and do whatever you need to do to get some rest and have fun!
