16 students took the quiz, which was worth 9 points (plus one bonus point). Here’s how the scores broke out:
- 10 of 16 students earned a zero
- 3 scored in the .5 to 2.5 point range
- 3 scored in the 7.5 to 9 point range
That’s awful, especially given that I sent an email with the subject line, “ENGL 110: What I’m Going to Ask You About, Tomorrow (W 3/12),” saying explicitly, among other things, what I would ask about Ray’s argument, and I posted the exact same information on the course webpage.
